The Young County Historical Commission [YCHC] hosted a birthday celebration for the 1921 Jail located in Graham. The members of YCHC dressed in 1920s period clothing, hosted a booth with information and a petition to save the jail, gave tours of the jail and made sure guests stopping by had a fun evening. Olney Hamilton Hospital hosted their annual Employee Christmas Luncheon on Thursday, Dec. 16.
Olney Police Department’s K9 Bond will receive a bullet and stab protective vest, thanks to a charitable donation from the non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. K9 Bond’s vest is sponsored by Claire Lillard of Baytown and will be embroidered with the sentiment, “Gifted by Johnny and Claire Lillard.” Delivery is expected within eight to ten weeks.
On Nov. 18, Olney Hamilton Hospital [OHH] hosted the annual Thanksgiving Luncheon at the Olney Hamilton Hospital Education Building at 902 W. Hamilton, across the street from the hospital.
