“Before I came to H.O.M.E. I was lost in addiction. So lost I went into a rehab in Dallas, TX hoping to find my peace and happiness. I was wrong. There was still so much missing. While in rehab, a good friend of mine heard about H.O.M.E. and she told me about it. Right away I was intrigued. I told my husband. Unsure at first but something kept telling us to just go. So, we did.

Olney welcomes a new doctor to Olney Hamilton Hospital; Dr. Chantel Taylor. Dr. Taylor specializes in family practice, including Neonatal, Pediatrics, Adults, and Geriatrics. Taylor also works with gynostretics and gynecology, emergency care and sports. Taylor has had much experienced from all across the country and the World—attending Brown University, Medical School in Australia and Residency at the LSU Rural Family Medicine Program.

Amity Club Meeting Held on Oct. 1

The Amity Club meeting was held Thursday, Oct. 1, at the Fellowship Hall at the First United Methodist Church (FUMC) in Olney. The theme of the meeting was “Leaves of Gold” and was hosted by Phyllis Whitsitt and Lucretia Taylor. First Vice President Gail Spears was the program leader, and she introduced the guest speaker, Pastor Harrell Braddock of First United Methodist Church.
