OHS One-Act Play bound for Bi-District

Olney High School’s One-Act Play beat four other schools to advance to the bi-district competition after a second-place finish at the district competition in Seymour Wednesday, March 9, with the drama “Mrs. Packard.” Along with success as a team, individual members also won multiple awards, including Brie Hagle - Best Performer, Adelade Edgington – All-Star Cast, Natalie Del- Villar - Honorable Mention All-Star Cast, and Ellie Henson - Best Stage Manager.

Lady Cubs Overwhelm the Hirschi Lady Huskies

On March 1, the Olney High School [OHS] Lady Cub Varsity Softball Team hosted the Hirschi Lady Huskies for a season opening game. The Lady Cubs were fired up and ready to take it to the Lady Huskies. With heart, grit and determination, the Lady Cubs secured the win by a score of 17-2. The following Lady Cubs scored during the match up: #12 Mahler-1 run, #20 Scrogum-2 runs, #7 Guerra-3 runs, #26 Alvarez-2 runs, #4 Hagle-3 runs, #21 Hinson-1 run, #14 Torres-2 runs, #1 Green-2 runs and #32 Roach-1 run. Lady Cubs pitcher #5 Enriquez pitched a great game, only allowing two runs in. Fight on Lady Cubs!
