Lady Cubs qualify for volleyball playoffs

The past few games of the Olney Varsity Lady Cubs Volleyball team have been very eventful, ending with them qualifying for the playoffs.
On Tuesday, Oct. 17, the Lady Cubs lost to Quanah 3-2 in a seasaw game. Quanah won the first set 25-16 with Olney taking the second set 26-24. Quanah won the next 25-12, with Olney coming back and winning the fourth 25-21. Finally Quanah won the last set at 15-10.
On Saturday, Oct. 21, Olney won all three sets against Petrolia at home. The scores were 25-18, 25-20, 25-17. The victory gave the Lady Cubs a spot in the playoffs.
On Monday, Oct. 24, the Lady Cubs lost a district game to Archer City, winning two of five sets played.
The Lady Cubs’ playoff run begins Monday, Oct. 30, against Hamilton in Brock.
