Newcastle celebrates Senior Night

Five seniors were recognized among the Newcastle Lady Cats this year. They led their Lady Cat crew to a big 72-18 win over the Garner Longhorns. All seniors started on the floor for the night. It was a pleasure to see all the new faces with old faces within this senior class. The night started a bit slow for the Lady Cats. However, by the end of the half they had built up a big lead. They finished out the night in dominant fashion. The Newcastle Bobcats also took on the Garner Longhorns following the Lady Cats game. The Bobcats had no seniors this year. The game started at a fast pace. Several Bobcats made it into the score book that night. They were able to work themselves into a sizable lead and would pull off a big win versus the Longhorns, 74-32.
