Olney City Council Meeting March 9

City Council of the City of Olney, Texas held their first meeting of the month on Monday, March 9. The meeting began by approving the minutes from the previous meeting towards the end of February. First up on the agenda was to consider the agreement with Bob Carrell for City Inspections, with the council deciding to continue the discussion in an upcoming meeting and talk about their options on the matter.
Olney’s Amity Club hosts meeting, March 5

The Amity Club held its meeting March 5 at the Hamilton Hospital Education Building. The members were asked to bring guests to the meeting and the members who brought guests had the opportunity to introduce their guest after the meeting was called to order by president Phylis Whitsitt.
