One of the cutest events of the year for OISD is the annual field day for the Kindergarten through sixth grade Cubs and Lady Cubs. These feisty and energetic little athletes were full of laughs and smiles as they competed with athletic supremacy to claim those coveted ribbons and parental approval.
OHS Coach Eric Symank is hosting a spring basketball league to help improve skills and keep players sharp as school sports come to an end for the year. The Cubs Varsity team fought a hard battle against their neighbors to the south, the Newcastle Bobcats, and edged out a win late in the fourth period. The Olney High School Cubs baseball team celebrated Senior Night during a recent match-up with the Seymour Panthers.
The Olney High School track team scored wins at the University Interscholastic League’s district and area competitions, and now head to the regional competition in Springtown on April 18-19.
