President Jake Bailey called the regular meeting of the Olney Independent School District’s Board of Trustees to order at 6:00 p.m. The meeting has been duly called, and a notice of this meeting has been posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551, and that a quorum of board members was present.
Randy West with Atmos Energy presented a check to Lori Cox, director of Olney Community Library and Arts Center (OCLAC) for their renovation for a project in the amount of $5,000. COVID-19 has caused a few set-backs for the project and the library continues to raise the money needed for this important and much needed improvement to the library.

On Sept. 25, the Olney Cubs travelled to Ranger, Texas to battle with the Bulldogs. The Cubs unleashed on both offense and defense to claim victory over the Bulldogs with a winning score of 57 to 6.
