Do you know this story?

Four year old Emerald and I sat at the back of the fellowship hall while Chad talked about the resurrection. The crowd that had come for lunch was just now nibbling on brownies and finishing up the last of their sweet tea, and Emerald crawled into my lap, nothing to do but watch her daddy as he gestured and preached at the front of the room. “Early on the first day of the week,” he read, “while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance.”

Getting our normal back

Every spring, the Hospital Auxiliary hosts a linen sale featuring quality linens. Like everyone else, COVID has greatly affected the vendors we sponsor, and we’re trying to get back to normal. Next week, Thursday and Friday, we are hosting Luxury Linens, a company that offers 1800 thread count sheets and pillowcases plus pillows, blankets, quilts and more. This company is offering these items at the same price as pre-COVID. So, please come and see what Vickie has to offer you. Remember that the proceeds help your Hamilton Hospital Auxiliary provide services and improvements to our hospital that benefit our loved ones. This sale will be at the Education Building right across the street from the hospital at 902 West Hamilton Street. See you there?
