Our friends over at the Young County Olney Senior Cub Center [Cub Center] celebrated Veterans Day with a special free lunch. Attendees celebrated local veterans who were invited for the afternoon’s festivities.
The Refuge hosted its annual Turkey Trot at Tom Griffin Park on Saturday on an afternoon of spectacular fall weather. The 3K run through Olney attracted a horde of kids and adults, some in costumes, to raise money for Keep Olney Beautiful.
It’s that time of year when almost everything revolves around food. We must resist so many temptations, from television commercials to holiday samples in the grocery store.
