OES Second Grade Dioramas
Second grade students at Olney Elementary School created animal habitat dioramas that are on display in the hallways at the school. They also wrote reports last week that were posted with their dioramas. Second graders also entered the “One Water” poster contest through the SWC. Winners will be announced once posters are released back to Olney Elementary.
OISD journalism class takes over Cub Hub
Members of the OHS journalism and yearbook class will assist The Olney Enterprise with coverage of school-related news and events beginning this week. Their stories and bylines will be featured on the weekly Cub Hub page. The students are led by Mindi Kimbro, former Enterprise editor and high school teacher since 2015.
Olney High School UIL Results
Forty-six OHS students traveled to Archer City on Friday, March 24, and Monday, March 27, to compete in the District UIL contest. Olney placed first with a total of 754.5 points out of 1,645 points awarded. Out of the students competing, thirty-three will advance to Regional on April 21-22. Regional contest will be held at Grayson College in Denison, Texas.
OJH TMSCA kids qualify for state
The Olney Junior High TMSCA competed Saturday, March 4 at the Texas Math and Science Coaches Association Regional Meet in Azle.
