Olney ISD hired a new head baseball coach. Coach Braden Williams wasted no time getting to work by hosting a summer baseball camp. The purpose of the camp, held at the refurbished Olney Baseball Complex, was to teach new players the fundamentals of baseball and instill an appreciation and love for the game, Coach Williams said. Coach Williams had some help from Olney High School Cubs Varsity Baseball Pitcher Jordan Jacoba. The two led the children through stretching routines then began teaching the fundamentals of throwing and catching the ball, later moving into several other exercises teaching essential skills.
