Over the Thanksgiving break, the Olney Cubs Varsity basketball team started their season with two games on the road against the Munday Moguls and Chico Dragons.
Lady Cubs start basketball season 1-1

The Olney Girls basketball team started their basketball season during Thanksgiving break against Munday and Bryson, losing the first and winning the second. The game against Munday was on Monday, Nov. 21, and the game against Bryson was the next day in Bryson.
Junior high hosts practice TMSCA meet

Olney Junior High competed in the Texas Math and Science Coaches Association meet in Olney on Nov 11. Olney placed third out of the competitors teams from Wylie (5A), Sweetwater (4A), Seymour and Petrolia (2A), and Newcastle (1A).
