How do you bring a Christmas message of hope and joy to the chaos of 2020?
Recently, I lost a special friend. Hername was Punky Brewster. She was my friend of almost 12 years, and she was a Dachshund. I am a strong believer that every boy or man needs the friendship of a good dog.
Since we have put up our tree, Starfox has knocked it down three times, almost knocked it down-Godknows how many times-and we have to keep getting onto him for chewing on the lights. He is by far one of the most nerve-wrecking animals I have ever had, but I guess I gotta love that about him. He keeps my home life far from boring.
With Thanksgiving now behind us, Christmas season has officially begun. Every year, our Christmas traditions always start the weekend after Thanksgiving. We eat leftovers in the days followed by Thanksgiving and then we decorate the tree at my Nana’s house with my cousins. Decorating the tree at my grandparent’s house is a tradition that has been around in our family for as long as I can remember.
