I wrote the following many years ago, and the Holy Spirit still ministers to me through this story after all this time. I hope you also find some peace in this reminder of God’s truth.
Olney’s churches provide many opportunities to celebrate, worship and contribute to the community at large as the holidays draw near. Here is a list of upcoming events that everyone is welcome to contribute to or attend: First Baptist Church of Olney:
Olney High School students competed on Dec. 7 in Region band auditions, in which they performed three scales and two songs in front of a panel of judges. Students that were selected joined the Honors Band or the Symphonic Band, respectively.
Three days a week, John Vasquez conducts a real-life version of “CSI: Olney” in the evidence room in the Olney Police Department, making sure that officers have properly processed and tracked evidence collected at the city’s crime scenes.
