Music, church history, and patriotism will come together Sunday, July 12, as St. Luke Lutheran Church invites the community to a special organ concert celebrating America’s 250th birthday.
Other than “God Bless America,” there is not any other patriotic song that stirs our hearts more than Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless The USA.” We hear it often— it reminds us of what we have as Americans.
My granddaughter asked, “Who are you writing about?” I replied, “Bob Hope.” She said, “Who is that?”
I must say, I am seldom bored. I have many things I can do that keep me from being bored.
As artificial intelligence becomes a bigger part of daily life, Americans apparently have a message for the tech industry: if a computer is going to talk to us, it might as well sound like a Texan.
