Never too old to learn new things
Was all prepared to write a blood and tears soap box addition about the fiasco going on over in Afghanistan, but thinking twice I decided to let it cool off in the back for a bit before diving into that mess.

With the pandemic still on everyone’s mind, school has started back up and most children are attending in-person classes. Extra care needs to be taken by motorists now sharing the roads with school buses, children walking or on bicycles, and even lots of new teen drivers taking their first car trip to school.
While sitting at the front desk at the one’s face involuntarily pucker, which is newspaper office, I decided to dip into Mrs. Perry’s bag of candy. I reached inside the bag and pulled out a Smarties® candy roll. Do you remember those? I certainly do. Back in the day, you could “smart” your way out of awkward situations with a roll of Smarties®.
