I have always been into computers and gaming online since around the age of 12 or 13. I guess it started with messing around with our family’s Ti-99/4a. A personal home computer released around 1981. I use to get computer magazines and back then they would publish codes to program games. It was pain stacking and took hours upon hours but in the end, you had a cool game to play.
KC: “Life for me has not changed much. I still have all my responsibilities at work. All the city employees are still working hard to keep this city running smoothly during this time of crisis and they are doing a great job. Even though we are a public entity, we are doing our best to practice social distancing with our customers to keep them and us as safe as possible.
1. As you think about your high school years, what is a favorite memory? “There is one occasion that I vividly remember and continues to make me laugh today. Quint got finished welding a trailer and walked up to the table I was sitting at in the ag shop. He started a normal conversation, but it didn’t take long for me to notice his leg was on fire. In typical Quint fashion he didn’t make a big deal about it, he simply grabbed a bottle of water, put the fire out and continued the conversation like nothing had happened. “
For any woman in Christ, she is now a new creation. Her spirit is now awakened and has started her new journey as a spiritual mother in training being led by the Holy Spirit Himself, guiding her on the straight path of righteousness. And that mission is to let Christ shine so bright through her that others see nothing, but the power of Jesus Christ’s love pours out of her soul, overflowing with compassion and love. Who would have ever thought God would pick a little tiny town by the name of Olney, Texas to be the light on a hill for the city to see, but it doesn’t stop there. Now, these hand-picked moms are spreading their wings like eagles to carry that Light of Christ to destinations that are endless. So, therefore my House of Mercy moms, I say to you, God bless.
L.F. (and M.D.) and Pauline Gragg built the house in 1930. Hamilton Hospital records show that Dr. Gragg worked from 1911-1947 and received his medical training from the medical college in Ft. Worth, just like Dr. G.B. Hamilton. Dr Gragg was born in 1883 and died in 1947. The Graggs had two sons, Kibbie and W.A. (Mutt) Gragg, who grew up to run the doctor’s ranching interests in Young, Jack, and Palo Pinto Counties. Dr. Gragg officed in the very South end of the Palace Drug Store after 1935 in the building that had housed City National Bank. Palace was owned by Elby Wilborn and his wife Doris and aided by their son, Barney, especially in running the soda fountain.
