Mother Nature won’t let us get off this roller-coaster ride just yet, and it has been a bumpy ride, indeed! Last Friday morning, my eyes popped wide-open when my weather app said the snow would end about 8:30. SNOW! I leaped out of my chair and dashed to the window to catch a glimpse of the white stuff, but, alas, there was none. We tend to become obsessed with moisture during these dry spells, however minute. All the Christmas lights and decorations have yet to be stowed away, and except for the few days of deep freeze weather, we have been blessed with some really balmy days. Perhaps Mr. January is a bit psychic or has heard reports from previous Januarys about the unpredictability of the first month of the year. So we better dig out our heavy-duty caps (you know, the ones with those fold-down ear flaps lined with fleece) and get ready for some Arctic blasts.
