In loving memory of an extraordinary woman, Dorothy Caroline “Carol” Cook, of the Spring Creek Community, peacefully gained her wings and reunited with her husband Jack, at the age of 84 on December 3, 2023, while surrounded by her loved ones.
Anna-Lynn Anderson, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in Houston, Texas. Visitation was held Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lunn Funeral Home. A private (family-only) graveside service was held on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2023, with Frank Stearns officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Dr. David Franklin Lovett, age 75, of Lubbock, Texas passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023. David was born on June 02, 1948 in Olney, Texas to Dr. Raymond and Hazel Lovett. David grew up in Olney, TX and graduated from Olney High School in 1966. David attended Texas A & M University in College Station, Texas and received his Bachelor of Science in 1970 and Master’s Degree in 1972. In David 1975 graduated from Baylor college of Dentistry. David retired from a career as a Dentist at Covenant Health System of Lubbock He was a member of First Christian Broadway Church of Lubbock. His favorite sports teams were the Kansas City Chiefs and the Texas A & M Aggies. His hobbies included woodworking, raising cattle and hunting. While earning his masters at Texas A & M David worked on experiments that were associated with the Apollo 16 Space flight. David was a member of the Scottish Rite of Lubbock, El Maida Shrine, El Paso, The Texas Dental Association and Texas Cattle Raisers Association.
