Our father, Gene Williams, died May 7, 2024, of lung cancer, in Hospice of Wichita Falls. He was 82.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home, with Harrell Braddock, Jr., pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Don “Sonny” Wainwright passed away on April 29, 2024 at Olney Hamilton Hospital at the age of 87. Services will be held at the chapel at Lunns Funeral Home in Olney later this week.
Sam Vernon Akins, age 90, of Bedford, Texas, passed away Friday, April 12, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. The family will hold a private burial at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery later that day.
