Public sendoff for OPD dispatcher Deena Clark set for 12/9

The City of Olney invites the public to a retirement party for longtime police dispatcher Deena Clark on Dec. 9 from 2-4 p.m. at City Hall, 201 E. Main St, City Administrator Arpegea Pagsuberon said. Mrs. Clark will officially retire on Dec. 15 after spending 32 years dispatching calls for the Olney Police Department. “She has been integral to our safety team,” Mrs. Pagsuberon said. “The public is welcome. We will have snacks and drinks and have everybody come by and thank her for her 32 years of service. She will be greatly missed.” Mrs. Clark will pass the dispatcher’s baton to Brandi Blodgett, who formerly worked for the Young County Sheriff ’s Office.
