PSI industries broke ground on Dec. 13 on a 45,000 square foot building on West Main Street that will house two new presses next year, PSI President Kyle Coates said. The new facility will require as many as 50 new employees to run, Mr Coates said. The company is looking for clerical, customer service, maintenance, engineering, production, and die correction personnel, he said. The company celebrated its expansion with a groundbreaking ceremony with key PSI personnel and city officials. The City and the olney economic development corporation worked with PSI for about a year and a half to smooth the way for the new facility, Mayor Rue Rogers said.
County Commissioner Stacey Rogers adjourned his last Commissioners Court meeting on Dec. 9, closing out 16 years representing Precinct 3.
