Lauren Pham: Should the US get involved in matters affecting other countries or stay out and “take care of ourselves”? Why or why not?
Leah Galindo, sophomore: “Very little, because it is becoming corrupt and clearly the people in it do not have any common sense and idea of natural human rights, and have committed obvious ILLEGAL atrocities and there is so much evidence and yet nothing is being done about them just because they are powerful people”.
Rai Bond, senior: “They are outdated because students have different styles these days, and it is harder to find clothes that will meet the dress code, and I think they need to be more lenient like it is in college.”
Sophie Roach, junior: “Music and art education remains essential in schools because it doesn’t only allow us to learn about these subjects, it helps us understand cultures and historical occurrences. By being able to study the arts, we find new ways of expression and thought constantly.”
Emily Morcom, junior: “One of the biggest problems our country is currently facing is ICE. ICE has raised the concerns of many immigrants, even those here legally who have done nothing wrong, due to the increase of aggression that has been displayed especially when detaining people. Many have lost their lives or been separated from family due to this organization; therefore, many Americans argue that their procedures are unlawful and clearly violate human rights, yet it continues without change.”
