Young County was on high alert last week for fire danger, with firefighters from the state forestry service camping at the Young County Arena after models pegged Young County as the likeliest spot for a wildfire to erupt, County Judge Win Graham said.
The Olney Education Foundation (OEF) marked a milestone at its 10th annual banquet on Aug. 7, celebrating an increase in donations that will allow the organization to serve twice as many students each year.
The Olney Enterprise will host a special book signing party on Sunday, Aug. 17, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Hudson’s on Main to celebrate the release of Raven 23: How the Department of Justice Betrayed American Heroes.
