Publisher’s Points to Ponder: “What If ?”

Every time I turn on the television or surf the internet, I see civil unrest sprouting up not only throughout the U.S., but also throughout the world. In my attempt to maintain a balanced point of view, I watch multiple news programs and I listen to a variety of political pundits present arguments for and against liberals and conservatives, the right and the left, the poor and the rich, male and female, white and black; It’s a never-ending masquerade of allegiance to a country that is divided.

Social media has filled in the gap between fool and expert, and it is filling the world with foolishness disguised as expertise. How clearly we see it in these days. Yet that doesn’t seem to stop us from creating a shiny, clanging idol of our own opinions.
