“To Love Christ”

Dear Christian, let us not be deceived concerning our salvation and where we shall spend eternity. “To Be Alive”

When our church first started having in-person services again after COVID began, I would stand in the hallway as our church members entered the building for Sunday service. My job was simple: drop a squirt of hand sanitizer into outstretched hands. I saw hands hardened by callouses and hands spotted with age. I saw tiny fingers on soft baby hands, and I saw scars, wrinkles, freckles, and the various shades of skin that God has made. Every open hand that was offered up to me belonged to someone who saw a dollop of hand sanitizer as a minuscule price to pay for the chance to sit in our building, to look into the faces of our family eternal, to worship together.
