The 2022 school year is ending, and I enjoy this time of year even though it is busy during May. I get to look back at all the successes and a few not successful moments of Our Cubs, Lady Cubs and the town of Olney.

Whew! What happened to spring? Those gentle breezes and mild temps must be living somewhere else ‘cause they certainly aren’t here! Nearly everyone who entered Cub Center last week made comments about the extreme heat or gusty winds. Of course they didn’t really need to comment on the wind...their heads were testaments enough to relay that message. Hairdo’s became hairdon’ts by the time they got from their cars to the door! Well, there may have been an exception or two, right Edward and Hubert?? Wanda Mc may set a trend since she tied a red bandana around her head-- no unruly hair and no sweat running down her forehead! Solved two problems with one kerchief--way to be a problem solver!

Life doesn’t always go as planned. For example, you might think you’ll retire at 65 or later when you’ll be eligible for Medicare. But if you retire before then, how will you pay for your health care?
