The City of Olney has 37 vacant lots for sale, and many of them may be purchased for as little as $1,000. City administrator Neal Welch said the lots are a good investment for people who may want to start a garden or build a house, but there are a few exceptions to the pricing.
Olney citizens continue to pour out their concerns about the speed limit on Highway 251. Not only does this impact residents in that area, but it also impacts the businesses surrounding Highway 251, including Cemco. A reduced speed of a minimum of 55 mph would not only help residents, but businesses and citizens who travel back and forth to work from Newcastle and Graham every single day.
