Olney Police received a call at 11:15 a.m. regarding a suspicious subject in the backyard of a residence in the 700 block of W. Payne Street
Laci and Wacey Tate of Olney completed renovations and opened Olney’s newest business, 3T Meats. Wacey said he and his family have always processed and hunted for their meat their whole lives. Wacey said he has always been interested in cattle processing, so when the Tates wanted to find a way to supplement their income, they said it was an easy choice to open a meat market.
The 23rd annual March for Jesus parade is Saturday, Oct. 2. The parade lineup will commence at 9:30 a.m. on the south side of Avenue C and the east side of Tommy Perkins Park. The parade will start at 10 a.m., heading north on Avenue C, west on Main Street to Avenue J, and east on Hamilton Street. After the parade, festivities will continue in the Olney Civic Center, located at 210 S. Grand Avenue.
Ben Paschall (1891-1969) in 1919 bought this oversize lot and, with his building connection to Shamburger Lumber, divided this into three lots.
