Bring the kiddos to Olney Heritage Museum this summer to explore the educational exhibits including “Life on the Farm” where kids can actually milk the OHM cow, Moolatte. Also, is the kid-sized Air Tractor Fuselage and the tornado simulator that allows kids to create a tornado. Younger kids will enjoy the children’s playhouse and ice-cream shop. See you soon!

Local road construction crews and law enforcement officers will get new safety gear and security devices as a reward for Young County’s success in risk management under a program run by the Texas Association of counties (TAC), County Judge John Bullock said. The cost of the new equipment was covered by the county’s membership in the TAC’s Risk Management Pool.
Small nonfarm businesses in Young County and 106 other Texas counties stricken by drought are now eligible to apply for low-interest federal disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration, an agency official said.
