Sometimes God Gives You What You Ask For

The past several years in our country have been harrowing. We almost feel like it’s all a bad dream. The racial tensions. The political unrest. The senseless killing. The anger. The hatred. And last week, when all the little children of Texas were almost set free for the summer, tragedy. Brutality and evil the likes of which we hoped doesn’t exist. Once again, we mourned and we speculated and we posted all the theories on social media. We even used the event to bolster our own political agendas, to make points, to get on our soapboxes while mothers and daddies picked out tiny caskets for their murdered babies.
