Young County Commissioners voted unanimously on Monday to approve a 30-year lease of Olney’s former City Hall building, paving the way for major renovations of the century-old building on South Grand Avenue.
Lana McQuerry presented Midwestern State University freshman Allison House with the Olney Area Retired School Personnel scholarship [OARSP].

Young County District Judge Phillip Gregory took the oath of office on Jan. 2 for his first full term, after taking over his post from retiring Judge Stephen Bristow who retired last year after 11 years on the bench and 12 years as district attorney.
