Olney elementary and junior high school scholars hosted a one-day University Interscholastic League competition on Dec. 2 against students from Windthorst, Nocona, Archer City and Seymour elementary and junior high schools.
JV Lady Cubs vs Throckmorton Lady Hounds : T The JV Lady Cubs recently took the Lady Hounds to the hoop, beating the Lady Hounds 30-24.
The Lady Cubs Varsity Basket-Ball team fell to a recent match up against the Anson Lady Tigers 2838, but the team was looking better then ever and had a more aggressive run and gun play style this season, which means pressing through defenders and shooting more, this play style makes for a faster pace game with more scoring chances. Many spectators often thought there was too much passing and not enough shooting in the past few seasons of Lady Cubs BB.
