Lady Cubs vs Anson

The Lady Cubs Varsity Basket-Ball team fell to a recent match up against the Anson Lady Tigers 2838, but the team was looking better then ever and had a more aggressive run and gun play style this season, which means pressing through defenders and shooting more, this play style makes for a faster pace game with more scoring chances. Many spectators often thought there was too much passing and not enough shooting in the past few seasons of Lady Cubs BB.

It takes a team to win but there are two Lady Cub stand outs that could help propel this team into a winning season. #11 Aubrey Daugherty and #21 Katelynn Bailey are two Lady Cubs with a fierce and aggressive in your face play style. They are consistently pushing through defenders and shooting for baskets and on defense they are always right in the face of the opposition and apply pressure at every turn. Daugherty scored 12-points against the Lady Tigers during the match up and Bailey scored 9-points. The Lady Cubs have a full roster of great players this season and look to go far.

Coach Rhyan Daugherty takes over the reins as the Lady Cubs Head Coach and has brought the aggressive run and gun play style with him. Fans are in for a very exciting season with a refreshed Lady Cubs play style focused on sinking baskets and getting in defenders faces. Fight on Lady Cubs!!!
