The Cubs played hard and kept it close. Head coach or the Cubs Coach Pennington had this to say” It was a great game where both teams played. We had 21 turnovers and that is too many against a good team. We had some chances to extend the lead but you cannot go over 6 minutes without scoring. Credit to them for winning the game” Pictured is #22 Morgan Wilk going up for 2 against a Panther defender Photo by Will Sadler
Head coach of the Lady Cubs Coach Holyfield had this to say of our Lady Cubs game “The girls played so hard. They listened and did what we asked them to do. Defensively, we are very strong. We had a few small lapses that may have cost up about 6-8 points, but we held them to only 8 points in the entire second half. The girls worked extremely well together and are raising the standards we have for ourselves as a team. We as a coaching staff are extremely proud of them and cannot wait to for our next game” Pictured is #10 Kiara Allen crashing through defenders to reach the basket. Photo by Will Sadler
