OJH Schedules Class Trips in May to Reward Students

With no statistics yet reported on the Newcastle High School Coal Mine Relays as of press time, the following highlights are from the Munday Mongul Relays and the Graham Possum Kingdom Relays. There will be a good showing from Bobcats and Ladycats at Area with some great standout athletes from Newcastle.
The Olney Country Club hosted the first day of district golf competition; it was a hard-fought battle to bring district play to Olney, Olney Recreation Association President Landon Rowe said.
Olney’s powerlifting team wrapped up a great season, with several athletes qualifying for regional and even competing at the state level this year. Both the boys and girls teams showed major improvement, hard work, and dedication throughout the season.
Olney Junior High went to Seymour on March 30 to compete in the District track meet. This year the OJH Cubs and Lady Cubs have had a long and successful track season with many road bumps passed throughout the season. There were a lot of personal records broken and lots of improvement from the seventh and eighth grade girls and boys.
