UIL Competitors
Pictured are this year’s Olney ISD U.I.L. Competitors in no particular order. These young men and woman work extremely hard this year. Some events included: Speech, Calculator Skills, Computer Science, Literary Criticism, Current Events, Social Studies, Accounting, Science and Spelling. According to Kim Stephens posting on the Olney ISD website “Olney High School UIL Academics won the District Meet. Congratulations to all the students and coaches that will be going to the Regional Meet at Grayson College. Olney had 573 points. Also, Olney Speech Team had the most point in their division and came home with a plaque”.
Cub Spotlight
Jacqueline Hernandez is a senior at Olney ISD. Throughout her high school career, she has been involved in band, cheer, softball, robotics, student council, and cross country.
Track Days
Olney High School hosted Track Days on Mar. 26. After a long dry spell the Olney Cubs track team secured a win. Pictured is one of the standouts who helped secure the track victory, Luis Marquez, who placed 1st in boys 1.6 kg discus and 2nd in 12 lb. shot put. Photo by Will Sadler

Fatima Marquez is a senior at Olney ISD. She plans to attend Midwestern State University and major in computer science.
