Olney Lady Cubs sink the Pirates of Perrin

November 25, over Thanksgiving break the Lady Cubs traveled to Perrin to battle against the Pirates of Perrin.

Through a few missteps and a slow start in the first period the Lady Cubs found themselves down on the score board. However, #32 quickly got the Lady Cubs fired up and drove the team to catch up before the third period.

Head Coach Kourtney Holyfield of the Lady Cubs “We really picked up the intensity after the first quarter. Keirah Wilk did an incredible job picking up the intensity for us. She is such a spark on defense and helps bring everyone else’s intensity up as well. We’re excited to go into Thanksgiving break with a win!”

The Lady Cubs came out of the locker room on a mission and quickly took over the lead with the help of #5 Jaden Jacoba and #32 Keirah Wilk playing very aggressive.

The Lady Cubs played as a team and defensively played very well. Final score had the Lady Cubs 39-Pirates
