Publisher’s Points to Ponder: Change is inevitable

“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” Psalm 30:5 is the scripture that President Joe Biden quoted in his inaugural address Jan. 20. He stood on the Capitol steps to address the nation emphatically, stating that he will be a president to all Americans. He declared that he would fight for his non-supporters just as hard as he would fight for his supporters. His words rang loudly to listening ears, aware of the chaos that occurred on those same steps just a few weeks ago.

Publisher’s Points to Ponder: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

We are taught to accept the flaws of the people we love. The Bible instructs us to turn the other cheek when we have been wronged by others. Our parents teach us to love one another as we want to be loved. In marriage, we vow for better or worse. The reality is that we are often hurt by the actions of the people we accept. The question is, how do you deal with the hurt after you have taken the good, the bad, and the ugly sides of the person who hurt you?

My Nickel’s Worth

This has been a rough week. My grandparents have Covid. My great grandma has Covid. And my “adopted” grandparents have been in the hospital with Covid, and he died. I cried so many tears this week.

Will B. rethinking things

After getting a good talking to the other day from a customer it made me start thinking about if I am where I need to be or if I should be doing what I do. Although I have some control over the area I cover, in the end I do not have control in general. I do the best I can with the knowledge I have and the tools at my disposal.
