Publisher’s Points to Ponder: Celebrating Women’s History Month throughout March

The month of March is dedicated to celebrating National Women’s History Month, which the U.S. has recognized since 1987. While we celebrate women’s accomplishments from all walks of life, the centralized theme for 2021 focuses on politics. It is titled “Valiant Women of the Vote: Refusing to be Silenced.”

What’s holding you back? Time? Money? Motivation? Boredom? There are many excuses that we give to avoid working out. We can even use the excuse of not being in shape to keep from exercising. But what about your health? Around the world, people’s health is declining due to a sedentary lifestyle and the popularity of fast food chains. And after years of avoiding exercise it can be hard to get the motivation to start. We get comfortable with where we are.

This Valentine’s Day was a little bit different to say the least. It seems that slowly but surely life is becoming gradually more normal again as we continue to learn how to live in a pandemic.
