For many of us the holidays include family time. But what if you no longer have one? Or what if your family is spread out over multiple states and no longer can come together for the holidays? Does this mean you no longer have a family? By no means!
Voters approve all 17 proposed amendments Texas voters approved all 17 constitutional amendments on the ballot last week, the Houston Chronicle reported. Those included measures to raise the homestead exemption and reduce property taxes for businesses, and to provide $1 billion annually for a statewide water fund.
