Help Karrie Canada Get A Reliable Vehicle

Supporters of Olney’s cheerleader sponsor and coach Karrie Canada are holding a GoFund-Me fundraiser to help her buy a car to travel to Wichita Falls and Frisco for critical oncologist appointments for breast cancer treatment.

Without reliable transportation, those trips have become a source of stress and uncertainty at a time when consistency in care matters most, Chamber director Kimberly Smith said.

Living on a fixed income, Karrie cannot take on a car payment and needs to purchase a dependable vehicle outright. A reliable car would allow her to make her appointments without worry and manage day-to-day responsibilities while focusing on her recovery, Mrs Smith said.

Friends and community members have launched a fundraiser with a goal of $2,600 to help her get back on the road.
