KOB Hosts Feb. 21 Father-Daughter Fundraiser to Rehab Civic Center
The Civic Center has hosted its share of gatherings over the decades, but on Saturday, Feb. 21, it will belong to fathers and daughters.
From 5 to 7 p.m., the hall at 210 S. Grand Ave. will fill with dress shoes, twirling skirts, and girl glitter. Keep Olney Beautiful is hosting its 2026 Father-Daughter Dance there, turning the barebones public space into something magical.
The evening will include music from DJ Rad Dad, dinner from Chick-fil-A — nuggets or sandwich meals — and a cookie bar. OHS students will be on hand to offer face painting, and a table will sell glow-in-the-dark items for girls who want to add to their sparkle.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for the first child, and $5 for each additional child. Tickets can be purchased through KOB members, the group’s Facebook page, or locally at Stewart’s Food Store, Archer & Gunn Mercantile, and ACE Hardware.
The event is a fundraiser for KOB’s goal for the coming year: renovating the Olney Civic Center, KOB President Luke Leonard said.
