Rep. Roger Williams Visits Air Tractor and Graham
U.S. Congressman Roger Williams toured Air Tractor in Olney on Aug. 25, meeting with company leadership to hear about their role in the local economy before leading a town hall on small business priorities.
Later, he met with Graham city leaders and Young County Judge Win Graham to discuss local needs.
“Air Tractor’s success in rural Texas is proof that American manufacturing is alive and well,” Rep. Williams, chairman of the House Committee on Small Business, said.
He highlighted his Made in America Manufacturing Finance Act, which would double loan limits for small manufacturers, expand access to capital, and boost domestic production.
Air Tractor President Jim Hirsch has cautioned that tariffs proposed by President Donald Trump could pose challenges for the world’s largest turboprop maker, which imports engines from Canada and exports agricultural planes to Brazil.
