Air Tractor asked to buy the city-owned building where it has been manufacturing critical parts for its airplanes for the past year, company president Jim Hirsch said at the city council meeting Monday.
The Senior Cub Center’s annual Souper Bowl Stew Lunch Fundraiser will be this upcoming Sunday, Feb. 13, at the Senior Cub Center located at 302 S. Avenue B, down the street from Griffin Park in Olney. The Center will serve and deliver hot stew from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. You may dine-in or carry out. Either way, you will make it home in time for the Superbowl game (Cincinnati Bengals vs. Los Angeles Rams). The tickets cost $7, and you may purchase tickets in advance or at the door Feb. 13. The staff welcomes everyone, including individuals, families and church groups.

Not too long ago, a friend asked me, “Melissa, what is the most romantic thing Chad has done for you in the past year?” I sat there in silence, desperately trying to think of one huge romantic gesture that I could point to.
