During the Olney Independent School Board [OISD] May 10, Dr. Roach introduced two new coaches for the Lady Cubs basketball team; Both coaches will join the staff in August as the Head Coach and Assistant Coach.
After 20 years, Graham Regional Theatre [GRT] director, Christian Sanders, will be leaving the theater to pursue more time with family. Wife and invaluable member of the GRT, Stephanie Sanders, will be teaching at the Fine Arts Academy in White Settlement starting next school year.
Atmos Energy donated $500 to the Olney Senior Cub Center [OSCC]to assist with funding activities for the local seniors of Olney and the surrounding areas.

An Olney teen was criminally charged May 14 for participating in the Orbeez Challenge, a social media-driven activity that Olney Police Chief Dan Birbeck warned could get copycats in a lot of trouble.
