City posts public works director position

The city of Olney is looking for a new director of public works after KC Blassingame left the post on Aug. 19, Interim City Administrator Arpegea Pagsuberon said. Mr. Blassingame held the post for about 34 years, since August of 1988, Ms. Pagsuberon said. “KC was a valued asset to the city,” she said. “He had a lot of knowledge, experience, and information. We appreciate all the hard work he gave to the city in the 34 years he was with us.”
