The early teenage years are a unique time in everyone’s life. And understanding it all is not easy! Typically, this all starts around ages 11 to 14; early adolescence represents a bridge between childhood and the teenage years. This is a remarkable period of growth, change, and discovery. During this stage, young people experience significant physical, emotional, social, and cognitive changes. While these changes can create challenges, they also provide an important foundation for developing independence, identity, and confidence.
