The Refuge Pulls off Five Summer Programs
This summer at The Refuge was such a joy. We hosted five different camps for two age groups, kids going into 1st-3rd grade and those heading into 4th-6th. The themes included Science Camp, Lil’ Investigators, Cooking Camp, Christmas in July, and Art Camp. Each one was a blast, but more than anything, what mattered most were the relationships that were formed.

H.O. Smithwick Family Reunites in Glen Rose
The 2025 H.O. Smithwick annual family reunion was held July 2527, in Glen Rose at Best Western Dinosaur Valley Inn and Suites.
Thankfull for the small things
A while back my granddaughter had a difficult surgery, with a long term for full recovery. She had a bright outlook, and handled life with grace. One day I saw her FB post that impressed me as we all face life as it comes.
