Junior Altruistic Installs New Officers for 2026-27

Members of the Junior Altruistic Club held their yearend meeting in the home of Lyndsey Miller on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. President Minnie Wood conducted the business meeting and Parliamentarian Barbara Calvin installed officers for the 2026-2027 club year.

The new slate of officers includes Melody Rogers, President; Karen Craig, First Vice President; Summer Branum, Second Vice President; Julie Stewart, Recording Secretary; Gay Lynn McClelland, Corresponding Secretary; Lyndsey Miller, Treasurer; Sherry Altmiller, Reporter, and Minnie Wood, Parliamentarian.

Newly elected President Melody Rogers briefly discussed upcoming plans and events that will begin in October, 2026, as the Junior Altruistic Club prepares to celebrate 100 years in existence.

Hostesses Summer Branum, Julie Hinson, Jennifer Lane, and Lyndsey Miller served a delicious lunch on beautifully appointed tables to all the aforementioned members as well as Julie Campbell, Trudy Capps, Dee Dee Fite,Valorie Mahler, Anna Rogers, and Jan Tyler.
